Who I am

(and why that matters for you)

I’m Tanya Podawiltz—brand strategist, web designer, and archetype translator behind TPod Design LLC.

In plain language: I help therapists, coaches, and heart-centered business owners build brands and websites that feel like them now and actually support how they practice.

What that means for you:

I understand that your work is nuanced, trauma-informed, and often regulated, and your marketing has to respect that.

You’re not looking for “just a pretty website.”

You want a brand and website that:

  • Reflect the depth of your work
  • Make it easy for right-fit clients to understand what you do
  • Support your practice without turning into a second full-time job

My work sits exactly in that overlap: psychology-informed branding, thoughtful WordPress design, and practical structure for therapists, coaches, and creatives in helping roles.

I care as much about how your site functions and feels for anxious, overwhelmed visitors as I do about how it looks, bringing a calm, organized process to what can feel like a huge, messy project, so you’re never left wondering “What happens next?”

Based in New Hampshire, I work with clients across the U.S. and internationally through virtual projects.

How my brain works

(and how that helps your practice)

My background is a mix of brand psychology, design, and systems. I’m the person who will happily talk to you about:

  • Why certain colors support a perception of calm, reliability, or creativity for your brand
  • How your homepage layout can either guide people toward booking… or quietly lose them
  • Where your offers, booking flow, and email list actually belong in the bigger picture of your practice

On a typical project, I’m thinking about:

  • Clarity: Can a potential client understand who you help and how within a few seconds?
  • Fit: Does your site attract the people you do your best work with—and gently filter out the rest?
  • Support: Does your online presence make your admin, communication, and growth easier, not harder?

You bring the clinical expertise, lived experience, and practice goals. I bring the structure, visuals, and web build that make those strengths easier to see and act on.

Why I focus on therapists, coaches, and creatives

Of all the people I could design for, I chose you on purpose.

I work primarily with:

  • Therapists in private practice
  • Art therapists and creative clinicians
  • Coaches and other service-based entrepreneurs in mental health, wellness, and personal growth

Here’s why:

Your work changes real people’s lives! And your website should help, not get in the way.

You’re often taught either “do nothing, they’ll find you” or “do everything, louder.” I’m interested in the middle path: strategic, ethical visibility.

You’re usually juggling full caseloads, documentation, and real-life responsibilities. You don’t need another 47-step marketing system—you need a site and brand that quietly do their jobs.

Because I’ve spent years inside this niche, I understand the language, boundaries, and ethical considerations you’re holding. You won’t have to translate what you do into generic “online business” speak for me to get it.

My approach:

psychology-informed, ethics-first design

Brand psychology & archetypes

I use archetypes as a practical lens to understand how you naturally show up in your work—your role, values, and voice—and how that shapes your visuals, messaging, and client journey.

Color psychology and accessibility

We choose colors not because they’re trendy, or even just because you like them, but because they support the emotional tone of your work and meet accessibility standards for the people viewing your site.

Human-centered and trauma-aware

I think about pacing, clarity, and emotional load. That means fewer walls of text, clear paths forward, and no fear-based or shaming copy. You’re here to help, and it’s my job to ensure new clients feel that truth.

Intentional structure & systems

Your site is part of a bigger system: booking, billing, forms, scheduling, communication, and future offers. I design with that ecosystem in mind so things feel cohesive, not pieced together—for you and your clients.

I’m not here to turn you into an influencer. I’m here to help you have an online presence that feels like you and supports the work you’re already doing.

What it’s like to work together

Most clients come to me saying some version of:

“My work has evolved a lot, but my branding and website haven’t kept up.”

Here’s what you can expect instead:

A clear, guided process
No vague “we’ll figure it out as we go.” You’ll know what we’re working on, what I need from you, and what’s coming next—from the first call to post-launch support.

Structured collaboration
We use simple tools and templates (think: checklists, Trello boards, guided questions) so you’re never staring at a blank doc wondering what to write or decide.

Respect for your energy and time
I design projects to be focused and time-bound, with asynchronous check-ins where possible, so you can keep serving your clients while we build.

Thoughtful questions, not pressure
I’ll ask about your boundaries, capacity, and where you’re headed—not just what you think a “professional” website should look like.

At the end of a project, my goal is that you feel both seen and supported. Your website finally feels like something you can use, not something you avoid.

A few things clients tell me they appreciate

From the feedback I’ve received, my clients consistently highlight:

  • Feeling like I “got” their work and values quickly
  • The way I translate their big, messy ideas into clean, usable structure
  • How their new brand or site attracts more right-fit clients (and fewer draining inquiries)
  • That the process felt collaborative, not overwhelming or condescending
  • Having a site they’re proud to share again

You can see more of their words on my Testimonials page, but the throughline is simple: they feel more confident, clearer, and better supported by their online presence.

If we’re a good fit

We’ll likely work well together if:

  • You care about doing good work more than looking “flashy,” but you’re ready for your brand to catch up.

  • You want a collaborative expert who can translate your big-picture goals into clear recommendations, structure, and design without expecting you to figure it all out yourself.

  • You’re interested in using brand psychology and archetypes as practical tools to translate the depth of your work into a clear, cohesive brand and website.

  • You’re ready to invest time, energy, and resources for a few focused weeks into a solution that will support you for years, not just patch a short-term problem.

If that sounds like you, we’re on the right track.

Ready to see what we could build together?

If you’re evolving your private practice, refining your brand, or finally ready for a website that feels like home, I’d love to talk about what support could look like.

From deep-dive brand realignment to focused web design and SEO refreshes, we’ll choose the path that fits your current season and future plans.
